Our experience includes participation in major recent projects that include:
Texas Education Agency. 2008 – 2011. Three year Evaluation of the Texas Dropout Recovery Pilot Program, a multi-site, legislatively funded initiative coordinated by TEA. The project includes analysis of student progress and achievement, modeling of the program effects as measured by the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, site visits to all 22 Cycle 1 sites and selected subsequent cohorts, focus groups, program coordinator interviews and extensive teacher and student surveys over the three years of the evaluation.
Ohio Department of Education. 2009-2010. Statewide evaluation of the Ohio Enhancing Education Through Technology grant program using student and teacher surveys, student achievement data, and site visits throughout Ohio.
Walden University. 2008-present. Outcome study using descriptive and multi-level regression methods on three years of student and teacher data (2006, 2007, and 2008) from the Tacoma Public Schools to examine the reading comprehension gains of the students of Walden Master of Science in Education graduates compared to those of students of similar teachers. This project produced an Arroyo Research Services white paper, and we are currently preparing multiple conference presentations and journal articles regarding the study, including papers for AACTE and AERA.
Collier County Public Schools. 2008-2009. Migrant Education Program Evaluation: a comprehensive programmatic and data intensive review of the largest Migrant Education Program east of the Mississippi river.

In partnership with Truenorthlogic, Arroyo Research Services has designed a series of surveys for the 20,000 + employees of Fairfax County Public Schools regarding their professional learning experiences and needs. Reporting and analysis will include instruments designed for long-term measurement of professional development in Fairfax County.
California State University Fullerton. 2009-2012. Evaluation of the Math Science Partnership project awarded to Cal State Fullerton, University of California Irvine, and Garden Grove Unified School District.
Baltimore County Public Schools. April 2007 – May 2008. Curriculum Management Support Project. Our work included organizing and facilitating cross-division development of a Curriculum Management Plan among the Offices of Curriculum and Instruction, Research, Assessment and Accountability, and Professional Development, together with coordination of other central office resources. Specific subprojects included crafting the structure and procedures for the Curriculum Management Committee, supporting development of the Curriculum Management and Comprehensive Assessment Plans, conducting focus groups and interviews with parents, principals, teachers and district administrators, and reviewing and analyzing data collected by other BCPS divisions.
